As one of the series under the Intel® ON Event Series, Intel Vision will feature the latest thinking from Intel, partners and the world’s community of business and technology innovators. Intel Vision will highlight key industry topics such as AI, Ubiquitous Computing, Cloud-to-Edge Infrastructure, and Pervasive Computing. Inspiring attendees to learn, build skills and to network we invite you to consider sponsorship of Intel Vision.
In preparation for the upcoming Intel Vision Event in Grapevine next week, Supermicro along with our partners HCL & Taqtile will be jointly showcasing Edge to Cloud technologies for Augmented Reality, Computer Vision, Multi-access Edge Computing, Private 5G/CBRS platforms and OpenVino for Smart cities. These Live, interactive demonstrations of these AI and AR based technologies will showcase the capabilities of edge infrastructure using Intel’s latest CPU technologies running OpenVino and SmartEdge based applications.
Taqtile Manifest Augmented Reality for Industry 4.0 Applications: Over the past year, Taqtile’s Manifest software has been reducing the overhead for advanced training a workforce to manage and handle highly sophisticated machines in technical, complicated environments. Taqtile builds and provides a virtual learning platform that leverages AR at the edge to train and upskill a company’s workforce to work in the many challenging environments. Users of this platform have access to a wealth of information, including manuals, repair history, and the latest techniques to solve problems requiring manual skills provided in the field. At the Intel Vision Event, Taqtile is demonstrating their solution using an HoloLens 2 headset, a Robotic arm and the ability to watch on a monitor what the user is experiencing.
HCL Computer Vision and SmartEdge Open:
As a central point of Supermicro’s booth, our combined partnership with, HCL, VSBLTY, RADARapp powered by Intel® technology Smart Edge software will be showcasing Smart city surveillance and security solutions.
With an edge-to-network-to-cloud deployment enabling a borough infrastructure to work cohesively through cities and citizen homes to lower crime rates. The solution includes smart cameras, using VSBLTY artificial intelligence technology and the industry’s most advanced analytics, being installed in public locations, in addition to other security devices, to create a WiFi6-based surveillance network. The smart cameras, all of which will be utilizing advanced VSBLTY AI analytics and RADARApp technology, will provide detailed automated security data to local law enforcement and safety alerts to residents on their mobile phones.
The security network is a more advanced version of the world’s first WiFi6-based surveillance network using RADARApp intelligent cameras and has resulted in that community’s citizens feeling they live in the safest borough in the city. Smart cameras in communities provide concurrent alerting functionality for personal mobile phones and law enforcement, such as weapons detection and gunshot triangulation, facial recognition and threat detection, license plate recognition, vehicle counting, traffic analysis and time analysis of parked cars. A security strategy that has proved to be highly effective in reducing crime and enabling citizens to increasingly feel more secure.
Supermicro is proud to be a leading voice in this global conversation about the future of our cities, communities, and the role of technology, including #CloudTechnology, #5G, #ArtificialIntelligence, #EdgeIOT, #Storage and #Green Technology, in our built environments where we live, work, play and grow.
