Open RAN from Trials to Commercialization
Although Open RAN presents new opportunities for operators, there are many different timelines and deployment models for the technology, which is still in its infancy. These differing timelines are due to a variety of factors – from how the networks are configured to operator business goals. This panel will discuss the latest Open RAN trials and commercial deployments as well as look at the timeline for deployments in the U.S. It will also delve into the different ways operators may use Open RAN – will it be used throughout the entire network or only in certain geographies?
